High Ritual is a very challenging and dangerous thing. As I stated on another page, it is intentionally made more confusing to discourage from inexperienced attempts. High ritual entails many complicated chants and incantations, usually in latin or theban, as well as complicated inscriptions, tool usage, and countless precaution rituals.
For instance, in most summonings of angels, demons, elementals, or other sprits you must inscribe both a magick circle and triangle of art, both of which have special instructions and complicated inscriptions. Inscribing them entails using a sword or dagger to outline them, then using chalk or wax to make it solid, then blessing the lines with each element...sand for earth, incense for air, salt water for water, and coal for fire. This, alone is a complicated procedure. Then, commonly, you have to commence with other strenuous rituals for protection and banishment, such as the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. And if you know what this is, you know that it takes a good forty minutes to complete.
After all of the preliminary preparations, you are already drained and tired. This, however can be perfect for summoning an entity. However, if you don't keep your guard up, you could be hurt..
As far as tools go, the common tools of the craft are all a necessity. In addition, some of the most important tools I will here list...
- dagger
- chalk or blessed wax
- strong incense
- raw herbs, fresh not dried
- candles
- books of sorcery (will list later)
- robes and cords
- black mirror
- triangular mirror pyramid
- mirror ball
- blessed sand
- crystals and stones
- unmixed supply of oils and balms
These are the main ones. One of the ones that I listed was books of sorcery. I will now list some of the better ones to use. Depending on what type of magick you are commencing with, some of these may be more useful than others.

As far as actual high magickal practices, use these...note - all of these books are ancient texts, some dating back to 800 BC (revived). Some of these cannot be found in a modern form, I would suggest searching for ancient texts either online or in an occultic library (hard to find, unless you live in Europe).
